That Courious Body of Mediaeval Lore

(Sabine Baring-Gould)[http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabine_Baring-Gould] is mentioned as the “assembler” of that curious body of mediæval lore. Probabily, Lovecraft implicitly adresses us to the Curious Myths of the Middle Ages and to The Book of Were-Wolves.

Check out (here)[http://www.donaldcorrell.com/sbgould/index.html] a complete electronic version of these texts kindly provided by (Donald Correll)[http://www.donaldcorrell.com/]. Scans of rare editions of these books are in my (Baring’s shelf)[http://books.google.it/books?uid=16704311031624103085&as_coll=1003&so…].

Baring’s repertoir is huge (more then 1240 books) and part of it is accessible: * (Horror Masters)[http://www.google.com/custom?hl=en&client=pub-7791781450104571&cof=FO…]. * In (Google Books)[http://www.google.com/search?hl=it&tbs=bks:1,bkv:f&tbo=p&q=Sabine+Baring-Gould&num=100] there are more than 100 complete views. * At (Archive)[http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=Sabine%20Baring-Gould%20AND%20mediaty…] the list is endless.
